We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to work with customers on assigned projects to identify solutions to business technical problems. The primary application being utilized by the client is PowerCampus. As a Programmer Analyst, you will interact with customers and other consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces and customizations. You will be responsible for providing high-quality customer consultation and support as well converting designs and specifications into computer code.
The successful candidate will add value by:
Working with other consultants to develop organizational standards, effective practices and knowledge-base.
Monitoring, tracking and reporting project risks, issues, milestones and work completed.
Providing leadership for the customer enabling them to stay on time and on task.
Facilitating application prototyping sessions as well as providing insight into best practice methodologies.
Evaluating and modifying systems, where appropriate, relative to the customer business practices.
Analyzing, defining and documenting requirements for data, work-flow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs.
Providing customer with high-quality installation guides, change management and other appropriate documentation.
Providing direction in developing testing methodology and test scripts for use during upgrades, patch application and customizations.
Working with the customer to test and confirm modifications and/or updates meet specifications.
Providing technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or questions about programs.
Training end users or technical support staff to use programs.
Installing and testing programs at client site; monitoring performance of programs after implementation.
Implementing modifications and/or updates.
Customizing and coding screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs and interfaces with other systems.

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; OR 1-3 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-4 years related experience in the Higher Education industry
2+ years of experience and technical knowledge with MS Dynamics/Great Plains application, related 3rd-party products and/or other systems.
Ability to effectively manage scope and customer expectations on individual assignments.• Knowledge of the PowerCampus ERP and PowerFaids is preferred.
Conversion and implementation experience with MS Dynaimcs/Great Plains and/or Power Campus ERP.
ASP.NET using C# and VBScript.
Knowledge of SQL Server DBA Functions.
SQL Server Integration and Reporting Services.• Familiarity with Active Directory Structure.
